About InCity

Who We Are?

Asian Mayors Forum has recently initiated a platform called “InCity”, in order to organize a chain of events and develop creative and innovative activities in international and local levels. This platform provides a place to communicate, exchange experiences, introduce capabilities and innovations and discuss challenges between the cities. InCity is active in various formats such as Startup Weekend, Lifestyle, Talk, Act, Play, etc.

Incity Tourism

InCity Tourism believes that tourism is not merely restricted to historical and cultural attractions, thus attempts to organize specialized tours for mayors and municipality staff across Asia to pay visit to successful megaprojects of member cities and learn from field visits, trainings and technical workshops. Meanwhile, since tourism is a significant platform for sustainable development InCity Tourism attempts to help AMF member cities by designing joint travel routes among cities as well.

Incity Act

As a platform with both scientific and practical atmospheres, InCity Act focuses on younger generations and students, to call upon them to act responsibly towards their cities by putting them in real or simulated situations to deal with challenges and solve the problems. By playing roles in simulations or such activities, participants will gain a more comprehensive understanding of challenges in a city.

Incity Lifestyle

Cities are shaped by their citizens and citizens are defined with their lifestyles. InCity Lifestyle is an opportunity to present exclusive capabilities of every Asian city in fields such as tourism, fashion, entertainment, traditions, cuisine, art, subcultures, etc.

Incity Startup Weekend

Startup Weekends are globally known and welcomed as events for promoting entrepreneurship through creative and knowledge-based solutions. InCity Startup Weekend addresses real challenges of AMF member cities and invites innovative businesses and startups to gather and compete over their best solutions for those challenges and problems.

Incity Play

Edutainment and recreational activities can be very helpful for citizens in all age groups. InCity Play is the place for facilitating learning and empowerment through board games, group activities, and sportive games that are tailored to encourage participants to discover their potentials and learn how to realize them.

Incity Talk

InCity Talk is considered for organizing interactive meetings and lectures to exchange the experiences of mayors and urban leaders, policy makers, urban specialists, NGOs and even concerned citizens by narrating their best practices or experiences related to cities and citizens.

Incity Digital

Digital technology is an undeniable part of modern life and in communicating with citizens, virtual world needs to be taken into serious consideration as well. InCity Digital exploits advantages of IT and AI to better serve people and involve them in urban management though virtual tours, service and communication apps, online training courses, etc.
